The auction will run for five home games in March, with the jerseys being presented to the winners following the game on March 21st. All players will be up for grabs during the length of the auction.
All proceeds generated from the silent auction will be donated directly to the Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation and their campaign to raise $11.4 million to initiate health care progress within the Bruce Peninsula area.
“These jerseys, more so than any other jersey we have worn are incredibly unique.”, said Attack Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Brent Fisher. “Many fans have inquired as to where these jerseys can be purchased or had and this is the perfect opportunity for them to do so, while generating some funds for the BPHSF.”
The Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation is have proposed to put some of the funds towards regional cancer care, a new regional Interventional Radiation Suite, cardiac management systems, and colorectal cancer screening.
