WIARTON, ONTARIO, CANADA - Caframo has launched an economy marine products line under the Island brand name.

"Island brand products represent entry-level choices designed to meet the needs of value-conscious boaters," said Elliott Good, Sales & Marketing Manager for Caframo consumer products.

The first product to carry the Island name is the Camano 12 volt, single-speed fan. The compact design is ideal for any tight spot that needs some additional airflow, such as the corner of the v-berth or under a cupboard in the galley.

The Camano can be mounted up, down or sideways and has a quiet, high-efficiency, fully-guarded fan blade. A locking base keeps fan in place even in rough seas. With a low power draw, the 2,000+ hour motor is battery-friendly (sailors, take note). Suggested retail price is $US24.99.
