About Caframo

Caframo is a privately owned company founded on the shores of Georgian Bay in Wiarton, Ontario, Canada in 1955. In 1964, overhead stirrers and accessories were added to the company offering. Caframo derived its name from the words "Canadian Fractional Motors" the motor all products are manufactured from. The Laboratory Products Division designs, sells and markets a line of overhead stirrers for the education, pharmaceutical, industrial, cosmetic and general laboratory scientist.
